For this ad (one of the first assignments of the academy), I had to make up a story around a personal object. I chose my classic Converse shoes, which I have had since I was 12 years old. They are torn, stained, washed several times, but they tell so many stories. They reveal my first kiss, my first dance party, the adventures I had with my friends, the time i got lost in the Caribbean jungle, etc. I photographed my shoes on a wooden floor, with nothing around it, as if it’s a memory. Around the shoe I scribbled some of the stories these shoes tell.
